Australia allows those vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine to enter the country

The Australian Ministry of Home Affairs has announced that they have allowed foreigners vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine to enter the country

“You are considered fully vaccinated for travel to Australia if you have been vaccinated with a vaccine approved or recognised by the Medicines Administration, including the Gamaleya Research Centre’s Sputnik V product”, – the department said.

The decision to recognise the Russian vaccine was taken by the authority based on the recommendation of the national pharmacovigilance regulator.

Earlier it became known that Austria is working on the issue of accounting for those vaccinated with Sputnik V.
