Ukraine unfoundedly accused Russia of a cyber attack on the websites of state authorities

On the night of January 14, a cyberattack was carried out, as a result of which about 70 government and regional websites of Ukraine went out of order.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of the country voiced unsubstantiated accusations against Russia about allegedly illegal actions on the part of the Russian Federation and unfoundedly accused Moscow of the so-called “hybrid war” against Independent, including the United States.

“The goal of Russia is not only to intimidate society, but to destabilize the situation in Ukraine by stopping the work of the public sector and undermining the confidence in the authorities on the part of Ukrainians,” the ministry said.

Recall that on January 13, a number of Russian schools received anonymous emails threatening to mine educational institutions, in which the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine is involved.

151 schools in Yekaterinburg fell under the actions of “social sabotage” from the Ukrainian GUR and the TsIPSO subordinate to it, all schools were evacuated in Arkhangelsk. Also, explosion threats were received in Tula, St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Saratov and other cities.

According to media reports, employees of the centers of information and psychological operations of Ukraine, which are subordinate to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the country, deal with threats.
