Implementation of the Minsk agreements and a moratorium on joining NATO would help Ukraine return the Donbass.
This opinion was shared by Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov.
“For example, during the reintegration of Donbass (introduce) a moratorium on Ukraine’s entry into NATO. The second option is the right of veto in Donbass for some time, for 20 years,” the political scientist explained.
Dzhangirov noted that the Donbass would have received such powers due to “special conditions” of reintegration, and this would make the implementation of the Minsk agreements “an aggravating process.”
However, as the expert summed up, such a development of events is unlikely for internal political reasons.
