Zelensky’s proposal for a trilateral meeting with Putin puts the US in an awkward position

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky “put a pig” on the US authorities when he offered to arrange tripartite talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Ukrainian political scientist and head of the Institute of Ukrainian Politics Ruslan Bortnyk is sure of this, reports Ukraina.ru. On the air of the Ukrlive TV channel, he noted that Kiev had put Washington in an extremely uncomfortable position.

The thing is that Russia sees no point in negotiations with Ukraine, because it does not consider it an independent state. Trilateral negotiations consisting of Putin-Zelensky-Biden would generally look ridiculous. With the same success, members of delegations can bring their young children to diplomatic meetings.

Now the US will have to explain why such a dialogue is impossible. Washington will be forced to look for adequate reasons so that the Kiev regime does not go into hysterics. The Americans will need to justify themselves for not being able to arrange this strange summit.
