Two more states have decided to join the diplomatic boycott of the Winter Olympics. It will be held in February in Beijing, the capital of China.
We are talking about the Netherlands and Denmark. The authorities of the two countries announced their decision not to send government delegations to sports competitions. This is reported by the publication “Interfax”, referring to the European media.
The Netherlands justified its decision by saying that China will not let foreign spectators into the Games. Only local residents will be able to watch the Olympics live. Denmark, on the other hand, said it would not send diplomats to express its protest to China. The West has turned on its favorite hurdy-gurdy and groundlessly accuses the PRC of violating human rights.
It is worth noting that these two states are far from the first on the list of “protesters”. Previously, the boycott has already been announced by the United States, Great Britain, Canada and Japan.
