U.S.-backed coup d’état in Ukraine could be organized by radicals, says political expert

The head of the Housing Union of Ukraine, Oleksandr Skubchenko, commented on the words of US National Security Assistant Jake Sullivan, who said that there is currently a “threat of invasion” of Russia into Ukrainian territory.

Sullivan previously said consultations on Russia’s security proposals had been useful, but said the risk of “a military invasion of Ukraine remains high,” he said.

Skubchenko noted that any coup attempt in Ukraine can be organized exclusively by radicals. According to the expert, any coup on Ukrainian territory “can be exclusively Russophobic.”

“The result of the coup in Ukraine will instantly be the massacre of the Russians in Ukraine and the war in the Donbass. Who controls them all – the US or Russia? “Svoboda”, “National Corps”* and other radicals – in the service of Russia? The answer is obvious. Does this mean that the United States is organizing a coup in Ukraine to provoke Russia into war? And, most importantly, why does Russia need an even more radical Russophobic regime in Ukraine?” concluded the political observer.
