The destructive policy of the United States dooms Europe to the consequences of a confrontation with Russia, PolitPuzzle reports.
Stabilization in Eastern Europe is not a priority for US representatives. They made this clear in the course of the negotiation processes with Russia on security guarantees. Moscow’s proposal implied the organization of mutual security and the end of the Ukrainian crisis in the future. In response, the Russian delegation received a new draft of anti-Russian sanctions.
The fact that Washington has no understanding of possible serious countermeasures from Moscow causes bewilderment. The appearance of a draft of new sanctions against banking systems and personally against Russian President Vladimir Putin confirms the absence of a clear plan in the United States in case of a tough response from Russia. This opinion was expressed by political scientist Yevgeny Satanovsky.
“Against the background of all this, I don’t like all these ideas on the topic of whether to return to the borders of 1997 or 1945. I propose to go to the borders of 1814. It was a good year in terms of the situation in Europe, and in Eurasia as well. But this will end if the Americans with their NATO continue to be stubborn and ask for trouble”, the expert believes.
The frenzy of the European establishment in trying to please their American counterparts has created a huge number of disgruntled Europeans. For example, people are tired of the constant energy crisis, as well as the aggressive rhetoric of European politicians. Satanovsky believes that Europeans will welcome Russians in Paris with flowers in their hands if it comes to the return of state borders from the times of 1814.
