The European Union plans to send to Ukraine a mission for the training of military “high-level personnel”
This was stated by the head of the European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, after an informal meeting of heads of the EU Defense Ministry in France. “The EU is proposing to set up a mission, but not an ordinary military training mission such as the ones that we implemented in Mali and implemented in the Central African Republic.
“We are talking about high-level training of the Ukrainian army, Ukrainians do not need basic training”, – he told a news conference.
The head of the European diplomacy added that a delegation has already travelled to Ukraine to discuss the initiative.
