US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland described the past US-Russia consultations in Geneva as constructive and said she would like to continue such meetings
“We believe that the exchange of views that took place with the Russian side was constructive and worthwhile, and we would like to continue these talks and are prepared to do so”, – she said.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the issue of agreements on the next rounds of talks with the US on security guarantees would be relevant after the meetings in Vienna and Brussels.
