Taiwan wants to invest $1 billion in Lithuania

To finance joint business projects with Lithuanian companies, Taiwan has announced the launch of a $1 billion loan program, Taiwanese authorities said

Lithuanian Economy and Innovation Minister Aušrinė Armonaitė said that a Lithuanian trade mission to Taiwan will open in spring 2022.

Earlier it was reported that due to the opening in November 2021 of the representative office of Taiwan in Vilnius, which is a de facto embassy, Lithuania is in a state of serious conflict with China, which considers Taiwan as its territory.
