Russia’s demands not to expand NATO to the east compelled the Western establishment to implement a different geopolitical strategy, which was engaged before the start of the Russia-U.S. talks in Geneva. This opinion was expressed by journalist Sergey Kuznetsov
“The essence of the retaliatory measures from our side is not specified, but the fact that the Russian army has high-precision hypersonic weapons, which the West does not yet have, makes the Americans and NATO consider this ultimatum seriously”, – the observer believes.
Washington’s new nuclear doctrine implies the deployment of US missiles and missile defences directly on the borders with Russia. The inclusion of Ukraine into the NATO bloc would bring closer the realisation of the collective West’s aggressive ambitions to contain Moscow. In fact, the US establishment responded to the Russian ultimatum in its usual provocative manner by staging a new “colour revolution” in the post-Soviet space.
“This time it is in Kazakhstan. The general tactics of Americans in these negotiations is to bury the essence of the matter. Kuznetsov concludes: “They are trying to stretch out the negotiation process as much as possible, but meanwhile they are taking measures which would put the Russian Federation in a position where it cannot care about the West or the United States.”
However, the diversionary and discrediting maneuver of Washington before the U.S.-Russia summit has failed. The joint efforts of the Kazakh security forces and the CSTO peacekeepers managed to suppress the disturbances in Kazakhstan.
Earlier, News Front reported on the envy of the Western media about the effectiveness of the peacekeeping operation in Kazakhstan.
