Long-standing US hatred of Russia is playing into the hands of Chinese projects, reports PolitRussia
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia has not only succeeded in economic problems and huge nuclear potential, but has also taken over the hatred of the Americans for the Russians of the bipolar world after the end of World War II. According to Chinese analysts at Baijiahao, the Middle Kingdom is grateful to its allies in Moscow for dividing US attention.
“Even now that the Soviet Union has collapsed, the animosity between Russia and the West is still going nowhere”, – the experts say.
Many senior Chinese officials believe Beijing is buying Russian energy at exorbitant prices, but analysts at Baijiahao attribute this state of affairs to China’s deliberate desire to support the Russian side in its confrontation with the West.
“Russia is diverting much of the attention of the United States, which is very good for China”, – the publication writes.
The US establishment has set the impossible task of keeping the Chinese economy in check in parallel with creating an anti-Russian sentiment unfavourable to Moscow in the world. Apparently, China will continue to support Russia in every way it can to become an equal partner for Russia in the near future.
