Children’s Rights Ombudsman Aruzhan Sain reported that a four-year-old girl was killed by gunfire in Kazakhstan’s Alma-Ata on January 7
Aruzhan Sain said that on January 7, a car carrying four children was driving through the streets of Almaty and the car was shelled. The girl died as a result of the gunshots.
It also became known that an 11-year-old child died from gunshot wounds and a 15-year-old was injured during the unrest in Alma-Ata.
