Jan Lipavsky said the vision that the Russian Federation does have units ready to act
Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský said this on Sunday, commenting on the situation in Kazakhstan, speaking on the discussion programme “Questions by Vaclav Moravc” on ST24 TV channel.
“It would be good to remember how quickly those Russian planes with paratroopers started arriving in Almaty. It was evident that the Russian Federation, indeed, had units ready [to act], I would say, at the first wave of its hand. These [Russian] planes, they can start landing in other parts [of the world] near the Russian Federation”, – Lipavsky said, noting the high speed of the Russian peacekeepers, who, at the request of Kazakhstan’s leadership, arrived in that Central Asian country in a matter of hours.
