Germany banned exports of military equipment to Kazakhstan

Due to the conflict in Kazakhstan, the German government is halting the export of military equipment to the former Soviet republic

According to Deutsche Presse-Agentur, necessary steps have been taken so that exports of such goods to Kazakhstan will not take place any more.

Last year, 25 licenses were issued for exports of military equipment to Kazakhstan with a total value of about 2.2 million euros. This is a relatively low value – but given the current situation, it is nevertheless necessary to stop exports, the report said.
