The Kyrgyz authorities will today decide to send peacekeepers to Kazakhstan

In Kyrgyzstan, they began to discuss sending a CSTO peacekeeping force to Kazakhstan to help the local government stabilize the situation in the country.

It is reported by Izvestia. Members of the Kyrgyz parliament have already begun discussing this issue. At the same time, 53 out of 90 parliamentarians are present at the meeting on this matter.

According to the law of Kyrgyzstan, the sending of military personnel abroad is discussed by the deputies. After that, the decision should be made by the head of state.

It is worth noting that the meeting on the dispatch of peacekeepers to Kazakhstan was supposed to take place on January 6.

However, it was not possible to collect a quorum and the discussion was postponed to January 7. If the deputies decide to send military personnel and their decision is supported by the president, then 150 peacekeepers and 19 units of automobile and armored vehicles will go to Kazakhstan.

In Kazakhstan, peacekeeping units are already operating within the framework of the CSTO. Detachments from the Russian and Belarusian military arrived in the country.
