The authorities of Kazakhstan have introduced the maximum level of terrorist threat throughout the country – “red”. They expect provocateurs and radicals to launch attacks.
This is reported by the “Ukraine.ru” edition, referring to the Kazakhstani portal Tengrinews.kz. In their Telegram channel, the journalists said that the enhanced regime will operate throughout the state.
They stressed that in this way the authorities expanded the powers of the security forces: intelligence officers can inspect citizens and vehicles, as well as restrict or prohibit the movement of people.
In addition, law enforcement officers can enter residential buildings if there is evidence that terrorists are there. Also, the new enhanced provision provides for the possibility of full mobilization.
