The situation in Kazakhstan seems to be unfolding in a completely different direction, in which it was supposed to move, according to the organizers of the street fights, which simultaneously unfolded in large cities throughout the country, including the former capital, Alma-Ata. They clearly did not expect a request for support from the CSTO leadership by the leadership of the Republic of Kazakhstan and an immediate response to it (the military contingents of Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Armenia will take part in the normalization of the situation in Kazakhstan, and the Russian paratroopers are already there). What is the rise in gas prices, what are the protests of the civilian population of Kazakhstan against corruption? As in the “Arab spring” in Egypt, Libya and Syria, perhaps, only on a large scale?
At the same time, it is clear that the local security forces cannot cope with the crowds attacking them and could not cope initially: this is not the level of confrontation for which they were prepared. In addition to well-developed tactics of battles in urban areas, “peacefully protesters” citizens demonstrate the ability to intercept and neutralize the security forces on the way to those objects that they have to defend, training, professionalism and hefty strategic skills. Where? So in fact the fired people are working, who have gone through hostilities in Syria, Libya, Iraq, and even God knows where. The jihadists came from the territory of Afghanistan. And not the Taliban at all – why the hell did Kazakhstan surrender to the Pashtuns?
But their current competitors are from among the peoples of Central Asia, Kazakhstan and Russia: Kazakhs, Uighurs, Tatars, Uzbeks, Tajiks, Kyrgyz and all other residents of Greater Turkestan and its environs, there is a sea. It has been said a hundred times that after the shameful defeat of the Americans in Afghanistan, all these people will go to the places of their initial deployment, to take power in their historical homelands. Well, they went. True, no one expected that these landsknechts of the world jihad would start from Kazakhstan, but if you think about it, from a strategic point of view, this was a very right choice for them. We have negotiations with the US and NATO in the nearest future, the Chinese have the Olympics. The calculation was that no one from the outside would interfere. Now it’s clear that it didn’t work. Well, in the end, our military is no stranger to extinguishing jihadists. This experience has been accumulated since Chechnya.
Frankly speaking, I was dumbfounded by the speed with which everything in Kazakhstan was unfolding. Akimats and offices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, government buildings and residences of top officials taken by storm and burning.
At once, all over the country, including the most prosperous regions and prosperous cities! Wow, “peaceful protests of the population against the rise in gas prices”. And considering what the brutal crowds are, led by experienced jihadist killers, as well as the multinational population of Kazakhstan, the situation is there, in case all will be left to the mercy of fate, will be no better than with Christians and secular populations in Syria and Iraq, in areas occupied by Islamists. God forbid! So all hope, as always, is on the military.
