German journalist, political scientist, historian and former advisor to the German government Alexander Rahr believes that the new year has started well for Russian diplomacy
Earlier, the five permanent members of the UN Security Council issued a joint statement on non-proliferation and reiterated the “impossibility” of nuclear war.
“This is the supreme and authoritative reminder to those madmen who have begun to speculate about the possibility of winning a local nuclear war” , – Rahr wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the expert, the next step of the “temporarily befriended” permanent members of the Security Council may be a desire to create a new, multipolar world order – which Putin has previously proposed. Such a moment should not be missed.
Also the initiative of the “world government” – which are the permanent members of the UN Security Council – may contribute to de-escalation of the situation around Ukraine.
Alexander Rahr said that German Chancellor Scholz is reportedly seeking to mend relations with Moscow – he has expressed a desire to meet Vladimir Putin after Christmas – even before his personal meeting with US President Joe Biden
