Alexei Maslov, a Russian orientalist, wrote that Chinese public opinion about the events in Kazakhstan is unequivocal – the US is behind it all
“And with China, the US will try to do the same thing – but it won’t pass! There are two reasons for serious concern: Beijing is really afraid that some similar scenario may be nurtured for China, and secondly, China is ‘strongly friends’ with Kazakhstan over natural gas and oil, and any change of power is not good for it now”, – Maslov wrote.
As is known, China accounts for 18.2% of Kazakhstan’s total trade, exports – 17%, imports – 20%.
Chinese bloggers and commentators have expressed their opinion on what is happening in Kazakhstan.
“Isn’t this a shadow of the US, which makes the best use of colour revolutions!”.
“Where there’s unrest there’s a moldy country, where there’s war there’s a black hand of a moldy country, it’s almost become a standard in today’s world!”
“The US is really like a fly on the wall that flies around, finds a crack in the egg and flies up to take a bite and smell that egg. Think about why the United States has only been at war for more than a decade in its 200 years of existence. It is not that the world is evil or that America is righteous, but that America itself is evil. Had there been no war, America would have died in 1931 straight from the Great Depression. The 90 years between then and now have been ‘gift earned’ by the US through foreign wars, subversion against other governments, plundering and pillaging other countries, denigrating and distorting the world and thereby diverting internal conflicts.”
