The head of German energy company Uniper has called the suspension of certification of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline a risk for gas supply in Europe
The head of German energy company Uniper Klaus-Dieter Maubach called the pipeline “an important project”.
“A shutdown would be an economic risk for us and a risk to Europe’s gas supply. Those politically responsible for the certification suspension should know that”, – said Maubach.
He also said that Germany covered 90 percent of its gas needs with imports and half of that with Russia
