Kiev has to begin to admit that there will be no such long-awaited Russian invasion and there is no threat of “aggression” for Ukraine.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that the statements about the pulling of Russian troops to the border with the “square” do not correspond to reality. This is reported by the RIA
Novosti edition, referring to his performances on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “NASH”.
“If we talk about a large crowd, which the media abroad insist on, then we do not see this we keep track of everything and are aware of what is happening. Today we do not see threats for open aggression from Russia”, he said.
However, he also could not completely abandon the line on which Washington so insists. Danilov said that Kiev will continue to monitor the situation in the future. Therefore, one cannot say that Ukraine has decided to be guided by common sense. Perhaps this is only his brief outburst, timed to coincide with the upcoming talks between Russia, NATO, the United States and the OSCE on security assurance projects.
