Export contracts signed for AK-19 to fit NATO cartridge

Valeria Reshetnikova, spokeswoman for the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, said Russia has signed the first export contracts for the new Kalashnikov AK-19 assault rifle, created to match the NATO cartridge

“There is great interest in this product. We have already signed the first contracts for export deliveries of the AK-19 this year”, –  the FSMTC spokeswoman said.

The AK-19 was first presented abroad at the IDEX-2021 exhibition held in Abu Dhabi in February.

Concern Kalashnikov expects interest in this assault rifle, first of all, from the countries of the Middle East.
