United States Vice President Kamala Harris has said that Russia may face new sanctions over the situation around Ukraine
“We are talking directly to Russia. We are making it very clear that Russia should not encroach on Ukraine’s sovereignty, that we are defending its territorial integrity”, – Harris said when asked whether a “hot war” would break out in Europe in the next few weeks.
According to her, Washington “has made it clear that it is ready to impose sanctions that you have not seen before”.
Recall that Russia has repeatedly said it has no plans to “attack Ukraine”. It is the sovereign right of every state to move military equipment on Russian territory.
