Today, a picket in support of freedom of speech in Ukraine and against the channel’s information policy was held under the 1+1 office in Kiev
At the rally accusations were made against 1+1 because of their support for Zelensky, whose team is accused of putting pressure on the media. The action of the Ukrainian president in relation to the media was called “anti-constitutional”.
The participants hold placards in their hands and several full-fledged banners with photos of Plyusov’s hosts. There were also calls for a boycott under the TV channel. Zelensky was called “interim president” at the rally and the TV channel was accused of “hybrid warfare” against Ukraine.
The participants demanded that representatives of the TV channel come out to them and demanded an apology to the people. As a result, a journalist and a cameraman came to the picket. They chatted with the protesters, and there were several altercations.
The rally ended with the throwing of dollars “dolls” and an inscription “Journalists of 1+1 are propagandists.
