Protests against COVID-19 policy continue in Germany, child hurt

In Germany, the coronavirus situation and restrictions are pushing residents to take decisive action

 

Protests against the COVID-19 policy continue in the country. Demonstrations are also planned in many German cities today.

Mass rallies against the policy of coronavirus restrictions were held tonight in the city of Schweinfurt.

German police used tear gas to restrain the protesters. A small child was injured and received immediate medical attention on the spot.

Restrictions were tightened in many German cities – cinemas, theatres, museums, indoor zoos, swimming pools and other entertainment venues were all closed.
