Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba admitted that in the military sphere, Russia has a significant superiority over Ukraine in the Sea of Azov.
“From the point of view of security, Russia dominates the Sea of Azov. In case of war, they will actively use this to put pressure on our southern cities on the shores of the Sea of Azov”, Kuleba said in an interview with The Washington Post.
In recent months, a number of Western media outlets have regularly published materials that Russia is allegedly preparing to conduct a full-scale “attack” on Ukrainian territory. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov called such reports “empty and unfounded.”
The Kremlin spokesman stressed that Moscow moves the army exclusively within its territory and does not threaten anyone. However, according to Peskov, Kiev’s attempts to resolve the crisis in southeastern Ukraine by force will have “the most serious consequences.”
