Unidentified persons attacked an Israeli military post in the West Bank of the Jordan River, the press service of the Israeli army said.
“Recently, an attempt was made to fire at a military post in the Nablus (Nablus) region in Judea and Samaria (on the West Bank of the Jordan River). The shooting was carried out from a car that was driving from the direction of Nablus,” they said.
Information about the wounded was not reported, noted in the country’s armed forces. Dozens of shell casings were found in the area, the IDF military continues to search for suspects.
The number of Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers in the West Bank, meanwhile, has exceeded 300, the Red Crescent said.
“Three hundred and one Palestinians were injured this night in clashes with Israeli soldiers in the Borka and Bazariya areas near Nablus (Nablus) in the West Bank,” the movement said.
19 of them have wounds from live bullets, another 91 – from rubber. The rest suffered from tear gas.
Palestinians say the clashes were triggered by attacks by Israeli settlers. Due to the current situation, the Ministry of Education canceled classes and exams in the Bork region.
