The EU is dissatisfied with the import substitution of Russia and puts a claim to it for 290 billion euros

The point is that 20% of Russian GDP is made up of commercial purchases by state-owned enterprises, and Russian companies are defeating the Europeans here. They are simply not given the opportunity to make money. The EU complains that it is against WTO rules. Russia says that everything is within the rules.

The US Trade Representative to the EU also opposed Russian import substitution. Russia, she said, puts American companies in an unfair position, applies discriminatory practices, does not promote open trade and is unpredictable. We are facing a united economic front from the West against Russia. And the WTO is an instrument of this war.

Not only the EU and the US are dissatisfied with Russia. Britain, which receives Russian gas from Europe, has accused Russia of soaring prices for the UK energy sector facing a national crisis. Russia does not supply additional volumes on top of contracts, and therefore gas prices in Britain will rise by 50% by the spring. And this is inflation, recession in the economy and discontent of the population, who simply have nothing to pay for gas and products of enterprises. Give it a hand before the parliamentary crisis.

Russia, of course, owes its life to Europe, Britain and the United States for centuries. Everything is unfair in Russia: distances, the volume of the natural west, geographic location, cultural values, and most importantly, a chronic unwillingness to surrender to the West, to open up and let it in with all its desires. Give them as much as they want and for the price they want.

Best of all on account of the historical debt. Pay the costs of military campaigns plus moral damage from defeats. Then dissolve the country and let their governors into each specific principality. In general, pay and repent.

With the creation of trade alliances in Eurasia, the importance of the WTO for Russia is decreasing. Breaking China through the WTO also failed. The West protects its markets, spitting on the WTO. The crisis in the post-WWII post-WWII post-WWII global trade union marks an era of transition to alternative alliances. For now, the former institutions remain, but they no longer give their founders the desired results.

With the equalization of economic potentials, the WTO is transformed from a trade dictatorship into an arbitration tribunal, where judges cannot force plaintiffs and defendants to comply with decisions. Perennial disputes are not what the US created the WTO for. Therefore, the West and the East create their own trade alliances. It is not possible to impose one’s policy through existing institutions, the essence of the WTO has been emasculated. States in their protectionism look less and less at the WTO. What to do with a master key that no longer opens any lock?
