The citizens of the United States are unhappy with the strategy their authorities have chosen towards Russia. They urged them to stop escalating the situation at its borders.

They reached out to the US Department of Defense following a statement by Russian leader Vladimir Putin during his traditional annual big press conference. The Russian President raised the topic of security guarantees and said that Moscow was waiting for a response from NATO and Washington.
Putin drew attention to the fact that he is not responsible for the tension in relations between Russia, the military bloc and the United States. The North Atlantic Alliance is pulling more and more weapons into countries located near Russian territory, which adds problems to the already complicated relationship between Moscow and Washington.
The Americans heard the words of the Russian president and appealed to the Pentagon to abandon the idea of aggravating the situation near the borders of the Russian Federation. They noted that NATO understood from the very beginning that expansion would take place at the expense of Russia’s interests.
