Council of the Federation Council deputy speaker Konstantin Kosachev said that Russia will seek to have the issue of banning the German channel RT considered by authorized European structures, including the OSCE and the Council of Europe
He also called the position on RT “illegal”. And he added that RT is a “high-quality media product” which is dangerous to the long-standing campaign of brainwashing of Western ordinary people.
In addition, the senator stressed that the Western media are used to acting in their mainstream, in this regard, they can no longer compete with alternative points of view, so they are engaged in such “purely administrative and non-market measures.
