Germany does not believe Russia intends to “attack” Ukraine

German ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhusen believes a “large-scale military operation” by Russia against Ukraine is unlikely

She wrote this in an email to German citizens living in Ukraine.

“Clear words from European politicians and timely coordination have sent the right signals in Moscow’s direction. Nor have we seen a significant troop build-up on Russia’s border with Ukraine in recent weeks. Therefore, I consider the possibility of a large-scale attack from Russia unlikely”, –  Feldhusen wrote.

At the same time, the German ambassador stressed that, like her partners, she took Russia’s actions seriously. In her opinion, “it is important to show calmness, discretion and vigilance. And, as Feldhuizen notes, that is exactly what the FRG is demonstrating.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian REB maneuver in the Kaliningrad region leveled the NATO presence. The Murmansk-BN REB complex will be a response to the North Atlantic Alliance’s provocations, reports PolitPuzzle.
