AFU misses target during Javelin firing exercise in Donbass

The Ukrainian military failed to hit the target when firing the US anti-tank missile system Javelin at an exercise

Earlier it became known that the AFU conducted the first training firing from Javelin in Donbass.

A video to this effect was shown on a Ukrainian TV channel. The footage shows a Ukrainian grenade launcher firing a missile at a burning tank, which serves as a target, and hitting the target. The footage further shows the Javelin firing at the same target, which is not engulfed in flames, with the missile missing its target and hitting the ground far away from it.

Earlier, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that Kiev wanted to receive from Western partners not only defensive weapons but also offensive ones.

For his part, Lithuanian Defence Minister Arvydas Anušauskas said that Vilnius was ready to support Ukraine by all available means, including the transfer of lethal weapons.
