American Internet users questioned the “invisibility” of US aircraft, PolitRussia reports.
The most expensive aircraft in the history of aviation was accidentally captured by a Google satellite. The US strategic bomber Northrop B-2 Spirit was accidentally photographed as it flew close to the city of Concordia, Missouri. This curiosity did not go unnoticed by Internet users. The coordinates with an unexpected find were instantly posted on the Reddit portal.
“Now you are not so invisible, are you?” – the commentators asked.
Not without a grain of irony, American users stated that there was, in fact, no stealth plane in the photo. This is logical, because they are invisible.
“I don’t see anything what you are talking about. What stealth bomber?”, one and Reddit users sneer.
The cost of the program for the development of the American Northrop B-2 Spirit heavy stealth strategic bomber cost the United States an enormous amount – $44 billion. The price for one combat unit with a full set of equipment is no less remarkable – $2.13 billion.
