Biden gave four weeks to thwart Russia’s “invasion” of Ukraine

The US President Joe Biden instructed his administration to use all possible tools to prevent the so-called “Russian invasion of Ukraine.”

This was reported on December 20 by CNN, citing a high-ranking source in the White House.

Biden believes that there are only four weeks to prevent “Russian aggression”. According to the channel, Biden fears a repetition of the mistakes of 2014, when he was vice president. Then the United States and the European Union were “taken by surprise” because of the annexation of Crimea.

According to the channel’s source, the actions of the American authorities are very deliberate.

“What we are doing is well calculated. But we only have about four weeks to do this”, he said.

The American official noted that the US sanctions in 2014, imposed after the annexation of Crimea and the outbreak of conflict in eastern Ukraine, were aimed at curbing the medium and long-term development of “specific state-owned companies by limiting their access to US capital markets and technologies.”
