It is a reminder that the militants of the radical Taliban movement seized power in Afghanistan against the background of the withdrawal of the American military contingent. On August 15, 2021, the Taliban has entered Kabul and declared the end of military operations. President of the republic Ashraf Ghani left Afghanistan. On 7 September, the Taliban announced the composition of the provisional government whose legitimacy was not recognised by any country.
