Third humanitarian cargo from the Russian Federation will arrive in Afghanistan on December 18

The Russian side intends to send a new batch of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. It will be delivered on December 18th.

Zamir Kabulov, the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Afghanistan, director of the second department of Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, spoke about this. The humanitarian cargo will include medicines and food, Izvestia reports.

This batch will be the third in the past few months. For its part, Russia is doing everything it can to help the people of Afghanistan get through difficult times.

Kabulov noted that the cargo will be delivered symbolically just before the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at the ministerial level. Medicines and foodstuffs will be delivered by three cargo planes of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The diplomat stressed that while the West is only talking about helping Afghanistan, Moscow is already acting. It cannot leave people in trouble while mass deaths from hunger, cold and disease are awaited in Washington and Brussels.
