The Kremlin promised to mirror the response to the extension of anti-Russian sanctions

The Russian Federation will not ignore the sanctions from the European Union and will prepare mirror measures.

This was stated by the official representative of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov. He commented on the news about the extension of restrictive measures against the Russian Federation, reports the PolitExpert portal. Pescon drew attention to the fact that Russia has long and well adapted to all the sanctions and even learned how to benefit from them. She has established her own production and successfully copes with import substitution.

“We didn’t introduce the initial sanctions and it’s not for us to raise this issue,” the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation emphasized.

Peskov noted that Moscow was not the first to start applying economic restrictions, but it has its own set of retaliatory measures, which will be extended in a mirror-like manner with Western sanctions. Russia has learned to live with them and cope with them, but this does not mean that Brussels and Washington can continue their attempts to sabotage the country’s development without any reaction.
