The heads of state welcomed the approval of the “economic and investment plan for the Eastern Partnership”. They also confirmed their desire to become EU members and called on Brussels to support their choice and take into account all the steps taken towards European integration. “
The countries of the Eastern Partnership called on the European Union to “strengthen its role in promoting peace and stability in the region”, suggesting “to use all available instruments and restrictive measures, if necessary”.
Let us remind you that the Eastern Partnership project began work in 2009 to strengthen political and economic relations between the EU and six member states: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
Earlier it became known that Belarus has suspended its participation in this program.
