US destroyer moves from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean

The US Sixth Fleet has released information that the US Navy missile destroyer Arleigh Burke (DDG 51) has begun a transition from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean after conducting operations with NATO allies and partners in the region

“The missile destroyer Arleigh Burke (DDG 51) began its planned southbound passage from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea on December 15 after conducting maritime operations with NATO allies and partners”, – the Sixth Fleet tweeted.

Recall that the US vessel had been in the Black Sea since 25 November. The Russian military closely monitored all its movements.
