According to the Polish foreign minister, one of the main goals of the European Union and the entire transatlantic community is supposedly to “resolve the situation around Ukraine.”
“This de-escalation needs to be achieved through deterrence. If this symmetry is not there, it could be an incentive for further actions by Russia, which in our opinion are aimed at worsening security on the eastern flank of both the EU and NATO”, – Rau said.
