Turkey will not go to war with Russia for Ukraine – media

The US publication Bloomberg has reported that Ankara is not interested in engaging in a possible conflict with Moscow on Kiev’s side in a scenario where hostilities break out between the countries

“Turkey is not coordinating its steps in Ukraine with America and is acting on its own to protect its own interests”, –  the agency’s source explained.

This is because President Recep Tayyip Erdogan does not want to confront Russia militarily because his policy is characterised by “manoeuvring”.

Recall that the Kremlin has repeatedly denied accusations of “aggressive actions” by the West and Ukraine, stressing that it does not intend to attack anyone. Moscow believes the claims of “Russian aggression” are being used as a pretext to place more NATO military equipment near Russia’s borders.
