Zelensky’s office tells tales of peaceful “return” of Donbass

Ukraine is not going to attack Donbass. At least, everyone is trying to convince everyone of this by the Office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky

Its head Andriy Yermak said that Kiev wants to return the region exclusively by peaceful means. RIA Novosti reported this, citing his speech on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel 1+1.

Yermak commented on Zelensky’s recent phone conversations with US President Joe Biden. The Garant allegedly reassured the White House host of Ukraine’s peaceful sentiments.

“We just want to bring peace to our land, we want our territories back, we want our people back”, – the OPU head said on the Right to Power show.

The regular shelling of civilians and attempts to destroy civilian infrastructure are very much in line with his words about people being “theirs”. Kiev does care about the territories, there is not much Ukraine to throw away land. However, it is inhabited by those to whom it belongs. Donbass and its inhabitants are inextricably linked and they do not want to return to the composition of the “non-independent republic”.
