“It is becoming increasingly clear that Ukraine with its Western partners – the US and the UK – are preparing a military provocation against Russia at the end of January”, – the politician wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to Kiva, Ukraine thus plans to “kill two birds with one stone”: Western countries will have an opportunity to once again accuse Russia of “aggression” and impose sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, while Kiev will be able to attribute its policy failures to “hunger, cold and war”.
“Now the first stage of this provocation has actively begun – information hysteria about possible Russian aggression at the end of January – the peak of Ukraine’s economic collapse. I am sure that Russia has long been ready for such scenarios and in the near future we will see countermeasures and counterarguments, and subsequently Zelensky at the negotiating table, who will haggle his indulgence first of all,” – summarized the deputy.
