The phrase “American democracy” has long been a meme. And in some cases, even a swear word. Especially in those countries where democracy was forcibly introduced
But the U.S., with persistence and impudence of managers of network business, continue to impose on European and other markets its absolutely unnecessary in the economy, but very expensive product, which is of little use, but the losses from which usage can be enormous.
However, naive buyers of this democracy are still found. Because some find it very difficult to resist sweet speeches of the seller, who in memorized phrases describes to you all the delights of his product, which is able to change your life once and for all. But it’s not specified in which direction.
Of course, at the moment there are communities of deceived customers, who are willing to spend hours talking about the unfairness of the seller and all the negative consequences of his sold products. But no one usually listens to them. And in vain. The same Serbs can share their own experience how this same democracy can become a meat grinder, mercilessly turning into mincemeat everything that until recently was not only your well-being, but also human lives.
And even ordinary Ukrainians, although in a whisper, also share the negative impressions they got after a smiling gentleman with a Hollywood smile and a bulky suitcase, inside which was the very democracy that gave birth to the events that have already claimed the lives of over 14 thousand people.
But all these negative responses, American democracy sellers are trying to put down to machinations of enemies and competitors, smilingly extolling their products and promising potential buyers a loyalty program and membership in a closed club for the select few.
Many are fooled, believing that by doing so they too will become an elite that can influence and regulate things.
Alas, epiphany and disappointment comes quickly. But not many are prepared to admit it. That is why, gritting their hearts and gritting their teeth, they continue to participate in this farce, smiling pretentiously and comforting themselves with the thought that sooner or later the purchased product will break down and they will have a chance to annul the deal.
Naive! The renewal agreement is already in place and just waiting to happen.
So, we will have to be patient. And for a long time, I suspect.
However, there’s always an option to get out of bondage.
