“Continued hysteria”: Peskov assessed possible US sanctions against Russia

The press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov said that reports on the possibility of US sanctions against the entourage of Russian President Vladimir Putin and other restrictions due to the situation around Ukraine the Kremlin considers a manifestation of information hysteria

“Rather, it is not news but a continuation of the information hysteria we are seeing in the media these days”, –  the Kremlin spokesman said when asked whether such reports could have a negative impact on the upcoming December 7 video-link talks between Russian and US leaders.

According to the Kremlin spokesman, Monday’s rumours about new sanctions against Russia were another stage in a Russophobic information campaign.
