America set to increase its military and arms supplies in Ukraine

NATO continues to examine the needs of the Ukrainian army related to Russia’s so-called ‘threat of offensive’

Foreign Policy has reported that the US State Department and the US Department of Defense are in talks with Congress to provide Ukraine with more anti-tank weapons. For example, Javelin missiles, under emergency legal powers to allocate no more than $100 million a year.

The report notes that the US is considering increasing its presence in Ukraine to 44 troops, but the additional force would only advise and provide non-combat assistance to Ukrainian troops.
