Ukrainians have chosen an unusual way to escape war with Russia

Ukrainians have refuted the possible threat of a migration crisis to Europe

Ukrainian social networks are flooded with comments on Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov’s statement about the looming threat of Ukrainian refugees pouring into Europe.

Earlier, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that an escalation of the conflict with Russia could lead to a migration crisis in the EU. He stressed that three to five million Ukrainians would flee from the “Russian threat” to Europe.
The European social media segment did not react as sharply as the citizens of Ukraine did.

“How many of our ‘refugees’ are there now? I think well over 5 million. We ruined the country ourselves, everyone who can run away from it, now we come up with ‘attackers’ to avoid looking like idiots in front of ourselves”, –  one of the commenters wrote.

Ukrainians have already learned to distinguish the real state of affairs from the semi-mythical statements of the Kiev authorities about the threat of war with Russia. Zelensky’s predecessors and his faction did exactly the same thing, sometimes swapping words and circumstances.

“I choose an unexpected direction for people like Reznikov. Let’s run to Russia, we’ve been in Europe since 2014. Enough is enough, we have lived”, –  said one of the Ukrainians.

The Ukrainian people are tired of being used as a tool for provocation. For the bellies and pockets of those in power, the citizens themselves receive mounting bills and empty threats.
