The Americans must use their influence over Ukraine and force Kiev to comply with the terms of the Minsk agreements.
This point of view was expressed at the Russian Embassy in the United States, the PolitExpert portal reports. Diplomats are confident that Washington should convince Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to follow the path of a peaceful settlement of the conflict, and not exacerbate the situation in Donbass.
The states are trying to present the Russian Federation as an “aggressor”. Thus, Western publications are actively spreading the horror story that Moscow is allegedly preparing an invasion of Ukraine at the beginning of next year.
The diplomats at the embassy drew attention to the fact that Russian troops have every right to move through their territory as they see fit. The fact that from time to time they may find themselves in border areas in one or another part of the country does not mean that the army is preparing for an attack.
Representatives of the Russian Federation advised NATO to stop pulling forces closer to the borders of Russia and stop spreading new rumors about a hypothetical war. The desire to inflame conflict is shown not by Moscow, but by Kiev, at the suggestion of Washington. Instead, the Americans should have done everything in their power to force the Ukrainian regime to end the war.
