Soldiers from Estonia and Britain arrived to guard the Polish border

British and Estonian soldiers will support Polish troops on the border with Belarus, media reported citing Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszak.

London sent a company of engineering troops to Poland – 120 soldiers, and Tallinn – one unit, about several dozen soldiers. First, it is planned to hold a coordination meeting, and after that the parties will begin to fulfill their tasks: maintaining a temporary fence at the border, as well as building access roads to this fence.

“Not from the point of view of the migration crisis, because de facto it is not a migration crisis. This is a hybrid attack that was carried out on Poland, and therefore on the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance. We are in solidarity with each other”, said the head of the Polish Ministry of National Defense.

He also added that negotiations are underway on additional support for the Polish army by the troops of the Czech Republic and Hungary.
